Sterilization & Infection Control Practices at 1st Family Dental

Dear Patients, Friends and Business Partners,

In response to a recent story out of Oklahoma regarding potential exposure risks due to improper instrument sterilization, we at 1st Family Dental wish to assure you that all 1FD clinic locations follow proper sterilization and infection control procedures as outlined by the CDC and receive regular training on OSHA regulations.

To protect the health and safety of our patients, staff and doctors, we utilize both manual and heat sterilization techniques on critical instruments after each use.  While exposure related incidents are very rare and risk is very low, 1st Family Dental follows Universal Precautions standards and works hard each day to ensure our patients receive the very best in care and service, including our sterilization practices.
