In 2015, the 1st Family Dental team set a goal to do more to help our local communities. This year, we set out to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, to help children in the Chicagoland area who are battling childhood diseases. In September, we planned to donate $10 to St. Jude for every child who came in to any 1st Family Dental location for their back-to-school checkup and cleaning. In October, we donated $50 for anyone who started new orthodontic treatment during the month.
Our 2015 St. Jude Fundraising Story
Our St. Jude Fundraising Story starts with us setting a very ambitious goal to raise $50,000 for the Children’s Hospital. Some folks thought we couldn’t do it. But we knew better, because we know YOU. We asked you, our wonderful patients, staff, doctors, business partners, and friends, to help by bringing your kids in for their check-ups, and by spreading the word through Facebook and social media. Together, WE DID IT. In less than 2 months, you helped us to donate $50,000 to St. Jude.
We were totally blown away by the love and support you showed for the kids and families of St. Jude. We were humbled by how hard our staff and doctors worked to help make this happen. And at the very heart of it, we saw what really happened: kids were helping kids.
