Do you think the world could use a little more kindness? We do too, and it starts right here with us.  That’s why, from February 9-15, the whole 1st Family Dental team participated in Random Acts of Kindness Week  – 7 days of kindness dedicated to sharing small and genuine acts of kindness to make people smile.

Throughout the week, our staff committed and shared dozens of acts of kindness towards others – some were perfect strangers, and others were some familiar faces that could use a little extra kindness.  We created a Kindness Collection – a social media feed dedicated to staff, doctors, patients and friends shared their acts of kindness using the hashtags #whyIsmile and #RAKWeek2015.  You can view the feed here until February 28th!

RAKWeek Valentine’s Day Surprises

To close out a great week full of Random Acts of Kindness, our staff and doctors also received an unexpected Valentine’s Day surprise from President & Founder Dr. Ghassan Abboud to thank and honor our staff for everything they do for our patients.  What Dr. Abboud didn’t know was that the staff had planned to surprise him with a Valentine’s gift as well!

 

We are officially “RAKtivists” at 1st Family Dental!

Just when we thought our week couldn’t get any better, it did!  Our team received word from the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation that we were accepted into their RAKtivist program. This means that 1st Family Dental now has the honor and responsibility throughout the year to act as kindness leaders in the local communities surrounding our locations!  We will be sharing our local RAKtivist kindness activities and ideas with you soon.
